CRISTAL CLEAR (1) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by half a length over 1m at Dubbo. Should settle handy in the run. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. BROSNAN (8) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Rosehill with success over 1m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by a head. No reason he cannot salute again. ZONDEE (7) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten half a length into fifth over 1m at Randwick. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
