MAMUSHKA (10) found a couple better when resuming last start at Gosford over this distance after she was prominent at the bend. Form over this journey is strong, boasting two wins from four starts. Facing a tougher assignment but she is right in this. JELLICIOUS (11) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 5½f at Hawkesbury last start, scoring by 2 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looms as one of the hardest to beat again. THE STARS (12) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 6¼f at Canterbury. Should settle handy in the run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HURRY MISS (3) didn't do a bad job when fifth last start over 7f at this track. That followed a win at Newcastle the start prior. Worth another chance.
