BRAVEHEART (4) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 8 lengths away in fifth over 6¼f at Canterbury. In a nice race and deserves another chance. STRAAND BEAUTY (2) was quickly into stride over 5½f at Gosford last time and defied all challengers to score by one length. Has the speed to overcome a wide draw. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to figure in the finish. PRIMA BELLA (8) scored at her most recent appearance, getting home by 2 lengths over 4½f at Newcastle as favourite. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three outings. Solid top-three chance. DUROVA (9) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 5f at Dubbo. Has a strong record at the trip and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
