Decent effort last time out when prominent at the turn before finishing second over 7f at Canberra, beaten 1.75 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. KAIHOKO (18) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last start over 1m at Doomben, beaten 1.75 lengths. Has the talent to get the prize. DASHING RUPERT (9) gave away a considerable start over 6f at Kembla Grange last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. Will be putting in the big strides late.
