AKAKA FALLS (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 5f at Orange, getting home by 0.7 lengths. Winning rider Zac Wadick retains the mount. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another bold race. BOSS (8) is back at the races for the first time since October 5. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Hawkesbury. Looks a winning chance. BOOMSONG (7) is having his first run since August 9. Goes well when fresh with two wins and two placings from four starts. Placed in a recent trial. Should be prominent. STARS AND BARS (6) has not been a factor of late. Two runs ago could only manage fifth over 6½f at Kembla Grange. Last time he failed to complete the course at Wyong.
