OKAMI STAR (5) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished sixth over 6¼f at Canterbury, beaten 2.25 lengths. Likely improver and can get off the mark this time. COUNTERPART (2) stepped out for his debut over 5f in the G3 Breeders' Plate at Randwick back on September 30 and finished seventh, beaten 2.75 lengths. Better for the run and can improve sharply. BOSUSTOW (1) was beaten for speed on debut last start then worked home honestly to finish sixth over 5½f at Rosehill. Has ability and is among the chances. TARTAGLIA (6) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third over 5½f at Rosehill. Has upside and must be respected.
