POINT NEPEAN (1) is a talented jumper who was more at home over the jumps last start and saluted in a hurdle (2m) at Hamilton. That was on the back of an unplaced effort on the flat two runs back. Likely to figure again. GOLDEN GARDEN (3) finished third two starts back in a over this course and distance. Subsequently missed the placings in a flat race at Horsham over 1m2 1/2f, beaten 6 lengths. Cannot be left out back over the obstacles. FIELD OF LIGHTS (2) unfortunately on his jumps debut (2m3 1/4f) at Terang. Makes plenty of appeal. CHARLIE MESSY HAIR (6) has not appeared since he finished in the money on the flat over 1m5f at Cranbourne five months ago. Finished fifth at his only jumps appearance back on August 17 at Ballarat. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
