SILVER CLIFF (2) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on August 16, finishing ninth and beaten 4. 5 lengths over 7f at Caulfield. Rates highly and should take some beating. SARDONIAN (4) drifted back and never threatened when sixth last start over 6f136yards at Geelong. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. BALLYNACALLY (1) is a promising type who scored at her only run last prep 12 weeks ago over 5f at Terang. Sharpened up by a recent trial placing. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Linda Meech who has three wins when partnering stays on. Can play a role in the finish.
