RACEY CASEY (13) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 3. 5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Caulfield Heath last time out. Expected to do much better. ANTALIAN (9) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 7f at Werribee after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. CHAMPAGNE EXPRESS (10) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4. 5 lengths when eighth in a 6½f contest at Seymour two weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. BJARNE (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on June 30, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic. Makes plenty of appeal.
