MISS TOP GUN (4) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 4 lengths back in third over 6½f at Avoca. Nicely placed to go a couple better. SUNBURNT (6) finds it hard to win with five victories from 55 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when 11th over 6f at this track, beaten 2. 75 lengths. Jack Hill gets the best out of this eight-year-old mare. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. ERMINIA (5) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 1. 75 lengths, over 5½f at St Arnaud. Among the chances and will be tough to stop. MISS REMSKI (7) was beaten 9 lengths into fourth over 7f176yards at Mt Gambier five weeks ago. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
