HEDGED (3) battled on well to hold third last start over 6f in the LR Hareeba Stakes at Mornington, beaten half a length. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. TITLE FIGHTER (9) drifted back from the inside draw last start then attacked the line with gusto to get the verdict by a head win at Bendigo over 5½f. Goes up a notch this time but he is expected to run well. MARBLE NINE (7) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by a head over 6½f at Bendigo last start. Will find this much tougher but he should be involved in the finish. THE INSTRUCTOR (2) pushed forward and was a determined winner by a nose over 6f in the LR Hareeba Stakes at Mornington last time out. Has the speed to be prominent from an ideal gate. Must be respected.
