BALNARRING BEACH (2) is a five-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid fourth at Terang over 1m2 3/4f. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. LARRYOCTANE (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m4 1/2f at Pakenham, beaten 5 lengths into sixth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
