MANCHEGO (2) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a one length win over 6f at Kyneton. Will be tough to hold out again. BORN TO SHINE (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Avoca, beaten 4 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is good enough to play a major role. FRANCINE (5) went forward last start over 6f at this track and held on well for second, beaten a head. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. JESSUP (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 12 lengths away in 14th over 7f at Sale. Well placed to turn things around.
