The one to beat in this line up. LOYAL CONSUL (1) showed good speed to lead over 1m5f at Ballarat last start but faded right out of it to finish eighth. Should camp just off the leaders. Will play a major role. CHEROKEE BRAVE (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/2f at Echuca, beaten 7 lengths into sixth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SAVABOO (6) finished second last start over 1m at Warracknabeal, beaten a nose. Should take a lot from that hit-out. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
