This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. A BLUE STAR (16) hasn't raced since finishing 12th at Werribee over 1m5 1/2f four weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Warrnambool. Winning claims on best figures. THE YACHTSMAN (3) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when tenth, beaten 15 lengths, over 1m4 1/2f at Pakenham. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. FIORENTE SPRITZ (10) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 18 when beaten 22 lengths into 12th at Balaklava over 1m3f. Likely improver who should be competitive.
