Looks forward enough following a trial win and can break though here fresh. FORREST GUMP (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Gerald Egan yard and gelded since last run. Resumes after filling a minor placing at his latest outing 21 months ago at Scone. Will strip fitter for a trial win and looks nicely placed. Bold showing expected. POWERING AWAY (4) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 5½f at Mildura. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race. DIVINE STRIDES (19) was well in the market on debut last start but could only manage fifth at Moe over 6f. Right in this.
