PONTE ARCOBALENO (1) did a good job last start to finish second at Swan Hill over 6½f, beaten a long neck. Is yet to score this prep but continues to race well, finishing in the placings at all five starts. Sure to run well. BRILLIANT BEAGLE (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. PLEASE ME DO (6) is close to breaking through following a narrow defeat last time over 7f at Wodonga. Nice alley so must be a leading chance again. APPLE EYES (7) settled in the leading division on debut last start but wilted close to home and finished fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 5f190yards at Albury. Open to plenty of improvement.
