SIGNOR BILL (3) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 12 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 7f at Geelong, beaten 4.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. GRINZINGER FASHION (12) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.3 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Echuca after being prominent at the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. WINGS OF CARMEN (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Echuca. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. AKAHATA (8) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Geelong, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Better than recent efforts suggest.
