THUNDER FORCE (6) broke his maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 2.25 lengths into second over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla. Among the leading chances again. SAMURAI STAR (3) finished third last time over 1m at Swan Hill, beaten 1.4 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. BANNOCKBURN (4) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1m at Benalla to finish 0.9 lengths from the winner in third. Lachlan King goes well on this six-year-old and is back on top. Must be respected.
