DESERT OPAL (2) has been racing well this campaign, scoring last start over 7½f at Albury to make it two wins from four runs this time in. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove hard to hold out. ROYALTOWN (4) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Nowra, beaten only a nose. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. BLOW ON THE DICE (5) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 2. 5 lengths over 7f at Wodonga. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and three minor placings from eight starts. Has to be respected. ADASITI (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 15 when beaten 4. 5 lengths into fifth at Narrandera over 1m after being prominent at the turn. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders.
