COUNTY KILKENNY (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1m2f at this track, getting home by a long neck. Winning rider Dale Cole retains the mount. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. MR TADASHI (3) started at 13/8 last time but could only manage fourth, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 1m2f. Jeff Penza who has two wins when partnering stays on. Likely to feature. HELLS SPIRIT (2) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when tenth, beaten 10 lengths, at Caulfield over 1m2f after being in contention on the bend. Brittany Button gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. VALENTINE JOHN (4) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Grafton, finishing second and only 1. 5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m7 1/2f. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
