DUPLI KATE (6) finished 4. 5 lengths from the winner in seventh when resuming last time out at Canberra over 6f. Has a very good record over this journey with three wins from five starts. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Well placed so expecting a strong run. THE SHAPER (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but was below par last time when out of the placings at Seymour over the same trip after he had travelled in a rearwards position. This is a nice drop in grade so he is likely to play a big role. ADOLPHUS (13) resumes after six months and looks forward enough following a Goulburn trial win. Blinkers come off expected to be competitive. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
