CHOICE WITNESS (5) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when seventh, beaten 9 lengths, over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. YOUR NOT THE BOSS (7) settled well back last time out then found the line strongly to finish 0.9 lengths away in fifth over 6f at Kembla Grange. Outdashed but got home well and the longer journey looks ideal. Hard to hold out. LOS PADRES (2) progressed nicely last start when he did his best work late to finish a close third over 6f at Wyong after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to prove hard to beat. COPPERFIELD (1) will find this easier than last start when he finished sixth over 1m at Narrandera. That effort came on the back of a win in a at Albury. Likely improver.
