CALMER KARMA (3) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Nowra, beaten only 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to find winning ways. GURU TWO (7) got off the mark over 7f at Wodonga last start, scoring by a neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Nick Souquet who was on board last start. Nicely placed to double the win tally. SANTORINI SUN (10) is close to a win with two recent placings, the latest when third over 5f at Moruya. Will drift back but wind up late. Capable of a big run. MIDNIGHT AFFAIR (11) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fifth over 1m at Nowra five-and-a-half months ago. Has switched to the Nick Olive stable. Has to be respected.
