ADOLPHUS (2) started public elect and wasn't far away in the only two runs of his maiden prep campaign, the latest a third over 7f at Canberra five months ago. Should take a lot from that first campaign and can go on with it this time in work. DANCER ONE (1) was thereabouts last time out when second at Albury over 7½f, beaten 0.7 lengths. Cherry-ripe now. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from three starts. Sure to run well. SCARLI JAPALI (6) hit the line nicely to finish second, beaten 1.2 lengths, on debut last start over 6f at this track. Will appreciate the longer journey so don't underestimate. KERMA ART (16) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 7f at Albury. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Wagga trial. Can kick off with a bold showing.
