MR SAXABEAT (1) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by 1.3 lengths over 1m at Echuca last time out. In form and will take beating again. EL LAGO (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 9 lengths, over 1m2f in the LR Canberra Cup. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he will be hard to beat. BRINGBACKTHEBEARS (7) turned in a better effort to finish second last start, beaten 1.5 lengths over 1m at Canberra. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove tough to stop. JUST BOOGIE (6) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1m2 3/4f at Goulburn, beaten 6 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure prominently.
