SCREEN SPIRIT (2) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6f at this track, scoring by half a length. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he is a key runner. JASKIER (1) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 6f at this track, beaten half a length after he did his best work in the closing stages. That followed a win at Griffith the start prior. Won't find this as tough so he is a leading player. TURNAQUID (3) built on a nice second two starts back at Griffith with a win as public elect over 6f at Jerilderie a week ago, getting home by a long neck. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is good enough to play a major role. JINGU EXPRESS (4) was last at the races when she got the cash over 7f at Narrandera on June 14. Worth plenty of thought.
