FIRST DAY (2) comes back in class after finishing 7 lengths away in fifth over 1m4f at Caulfield nine days ago when she was never in contention. Better placed in this company and is one of the major players. MIDNIGHT LUNA (6) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time when she was always up in the leading division over 1m1f at Bathurst. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CRUSHEEN LASS (12) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace last start then boxed on well to finish second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1m at Echuca. Placed to advantage and can take this out. SORRY SUNSHINE (3) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when fourth over 7½f at Albury, beaten 3.5 lengths. In contention this time.
