FRERE JACQUES (1) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Scored over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside at the start of last prep. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. GALLIC VICTOR (2) has been mixing his form recently including last time out when he was well held over 7f at Greyville All Weather. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best figures should see him run well. TRACKSUIT DAVE (5) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Turffontein Inside two starts back then got the job done by a head as public elect last time out over 7f at Turffontein Standside. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. MATROOSBERG (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¾f at Turffontein Standside, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
