ALPINE JET (4) finished sixth at Turffontein Standside over this distance last time out. Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from three starts. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. ANCHORAGE (8) finished midfield at her first run back from a lay-off last start, beaten 10 lengths over 7¼f in Group 2 grade at Turffontein Inside. Will find this much easier. Should be involved in the finish. GLASTONBURY (3) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six months. At her last appearance she finished ninth over 6f in the G1 Allan Robertson Championship at Scottsville, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Has a high cruising speed. Sure to be thereabouts.
