ART NOUVEAU (7) met with solid support last start over 1m at Turffontein Inside when seventh, beaten 7 lengths. Has a wide gate to overcome but she can figure in the finish. BLUE QUARTZ (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Turffontein Standside, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. ALAKANANI (4) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth over 1m4f at this track. Better than recent efforts suggest.
