Race Tip

VERSATILE (1) remains a hurdle maiden and disappointed when well held at Worcester three weeks ago. Needs to improve off top weight here and this is a more realistic opportunity. ALSHADHIAN (2) hasn't won for a while but not disgraced tackling fences in recent months and must be taken seriously. ASHDOWN FOREST (8) recently joined the Dan Skelton stable. Given wind surgery while yard can improve this type of horse inside out quickly and the market will give a big indication as to his chances. AMERICAN EMPIRE (4) is yet to win in six hurdling attempts however placed five times. One to be considered.
