SPECIAL SAUCE (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Fairgrounds, beaten 14 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the bend. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. DIABLO SHIRAZ (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she settled well back and was beaten 14 lengths when tenth over 6f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago. This doesn't look as hard so she is set to turn things around. ASHKENAZI (8) ran well below her best last time over 5½f at Churchill Downs (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths into sixth at 4/1. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. AMI'S GARNET (12) finished sixth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. A bold showing is expected.
