ENCINO (6) could only manage seventh last start over 1m in the G2 Gulfstream Park Mile Stakes (Dirt), beaten 21 lengths. Yet to miss the placings here in an excellent record which boasts two wins and one placing. Sure to be there at the business end. VERSTAPPEN (3) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end before most recently finished second over 1m4f at Sam Houston Park. Can bounce straight back. HUSH OF A STORM (8) is a handy seven-year-old gelding who returned from a break last start and finished 1.3 lengths away in second over 1m1/2f at Listed level at this track (Synthetic). Among the leading chances. LORD BULLINGDON (11) stuck on well last start to finish third over 1m2f in the G3 San Marcos Stakes at Santa Anita (Turf) after showing good early speed. Umberto Rispoli gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp.
