DRIFTWOOD (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at this track six weeks ago after being prominent at the turn. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. SOME R BLESSED (7) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 10 lengths from the winner in seventh at this course and distance. Should camp just off the leaders. Best form puts him right in this. MAYNARD (5) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by half a length over 1m at this track (Synthetic). Open to plenty of improvement and is expected to run well again. SEVEN CHANNELS (9) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Fairgrounds, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
