HOKU (10) resumes after a break of 12 weeks. Looking to emulate his debut win over 1m at Tampa Bay Downs to kick off last prep. Will be tough to beat. ASMODEUS (11) returned from a break of eight months with a solid second last start at this track (Synthetic) over 6½f when he was up on the pace all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Among the winning hopes. FIRST STRIKE (4) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was beaten 0.9 lengths into eighth over 1m at this track. Strips fitter and can find winning ways. MUCHO MOJO (13) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a nose over 1m at this track (Synthetic). Nicely placed to play a big role.
