Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Likely improver with strong prospects. KARATE KID (2) disappointed last time when fifth over 6f at Greyville after a close second at this track the run prior. Coming back in trip suits so is expected to be in the finish. THE LAST DUKE (4) is a talented gelding who was well held last time out in the tougher race won by Jerusalema Rain over 5¾f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths into eighth. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. MAX THE MAGICIAN (6) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m at Turffontein Inside, beaten only 0. 9 lengths. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
