THE REAL PRINCE (3) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 1m2f in the G1 The Met at Kenilworth. Tackles a far easier assignment this time. Leading contender. MAIN DEFENDER (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 7 lengths into fifth over 5¾f at this track. Has never missed the frame second up. Gavin Lerena is a key engagement. Taking on a better line-up this time but he cannot be taken lightly. ATTICUS FINCH (4) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
