ALMOND SEA (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 5¾f at this track. Has never missed the frame second up. Must raise the bar but a better run is on the cards. ALPINE JET (5) was prominent throughout when winning fresh over 5f at Vaal five-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. WHISTLE THE TUNE (2) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on July 27 and finished tenth behind Buffalo Storm Cody over 6f in the G1 Mercury Sprint at Greyville. Nicely placed and can feature on her best form. INSTAWORTHY (6) was in contention on the bend and finished third last time over 6f at Fairview, beaten 1. 4 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Capable of another strong performance.
