ONE TIGER (1) is back from a lay-off of ten weeks. Closed last prep with a 13th, beaten 13 lengths, over 5f at Vaal. Key runner. PHALA MILLIONS (5) finished fourth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 1.5 lengths as public elect over 6f at Vaal. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. CAPTAIN EFFICIENT (3) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when third over 5f at Turffontein Inside. Going well without winning and is a leading hope again. VALIEVA (2) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5¾f at this track, beaten just 1.2 lengths. Suitably placed so she can be prominent again.
