BRIGHAM (1) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at Vaal, beaten only 2 lengths. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within his grasp. NKWENKWEZI (8) did a good job last start to finish second at Turffontein Standside over 1m, beaten 0.6 lengths. Hasn't been far away this time in work with six minor placings from nine starts. Expected to be competitive. LAVA COUNTY (9) finished 7 lengths away in sixth at his last appearance over 5¾f at Turffontein Standside on May 11. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes.
