PUMPKIN PIE (3) is a promising gelding yet to miss the frame in two starts, including a win. Has not been produced since he scored over 7f at this track on March 8. Has a high cruising speed. Will give a great sight. CRESCENDO (8) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 7f at Vaal, scoring by a long neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Drawn out a bit but he is a great chance to go back-to-back. WAR REPORTER (11) comes here following a win over 1m at Vaal seven-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 2.75 lengths. Should run very well. ALADDIN'S LAMP (9) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m3f at Kenilworth, beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see him in the frame.
