CALANTHA (7) has been in good form, scoring three back at this track then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing third over 7f at this track. Has the talent to build on that encouraging effort last start. THE AFRICA HOUSE (2) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 7f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Worth noting Gavin Lerena goes aboard. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. HOTARUBI (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into ninth. This doesn't look as hard so he is one of the main contenders. GIMMEANOTHERCHANCE (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 30/11/2024, finishing ninth and beaten 10 lengths over 5¾f in the G3 Merchants at this track. Now under the care of new trainer Mike / Mathew De Kock. Can make his presence felt.
