CALANTHA (6) opened this campaign last start with a second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 6f at Vaal. This looks an ideal assignment. FRANCINE (2) is a distance specialist who is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fifth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Vaal then improved and scored over 6f at Vaal a month ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. THERE SHE GOES (11) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Turffontein Inside, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. KINGS AGAIN (10) ran below expectations when fresh from a lay-off at Vaal over 5½f last time, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
