Leading contender. SECRET CHORD (1) finished third last time out over 5¾f at this track, making it four career minor placings. Has a sound record here with three top-three finishes from four starts. Sure to prove very tough to beat. QUICK TRIP (9) was well in commission when resuming last start over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside when fifth, beaten 8 lengths. Deserves another chance.
