STAR MAGNOLIA (10) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5f at Vaal. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BRIGITTE ANNE (2) resumes in a similar race to her only run last prep back on March 19 when third, beaten 2 lengths. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Best figures should see her run well. DESTINY'S DREAM (1) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Turffontein Standside but raced below expectations last time over 6f at Vaal, finishing sixth and beaten 3. 5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. ARTIFACT (5) is yet to break through after five starts but not far off a win. Placed in a then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 6f at Vaal. Has the pace to take a forward position. Can feature with the right run.
