SHUT UP MICHAEL (4) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but was below par last time when out of the placings at this track (Turf) over 7½f after he had travelled in a rearwards position. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. CANE CREEK ROAD (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Oaklawn Park, beaten 10 lengths. This doesn't look as hard so he is a major player. SHAUN'S JAZZ (8) sat on the pace when fresh from a lay-off last start but faded to be beaten 8 lengths when 11th over 6f at this track (Dirt). Form here at this trip reads two wins from four starts. Fitter and can improve. RODEO CHAMP (2) showed early speed from a good draw last start then battled on well for third, beaten 2 lengths, over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
