AJ ROSE GOLD (11) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1f130yards at Zia Park, beaten 1. 75 lengths into sixth. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MISS NEVER TO LATE (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1½f at Lone Star Park, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. JESS A PILOTO (4) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at this track eight months ago. Blinkers come off expected to run well. KOLI (3) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 1½f at this track (Dirt) last start, scoring by one length. Kevin Carbajal was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
