RAVEN'S QUEST (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Listed level at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Has the pace to be thereabouts from the outset. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. VELOCIOUS (5) is a four-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Robertino Diodoro barn. Resumes after finishing sixth at Del Mar (Turf) at her last run three months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Leading player expected to feature. UNION COACH (2) has been freshened up since she finished fifth over 6f in Listed grade at Grants Pass (Dirt) five weeks ago. Can figure in the finish. COASTAL GIRL (1) resumes from a lay-off of ten weeks. Has filled a minor placing at each of her three when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a third over 5½f at this track. One of the better prospects.
