HOLDEN THE LUTE (5) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance ten weeks ago over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. BRUCKNER (2) was safely held when seventh last time out over 6f at Santa Anita, beaten 8 lengths. That followed a win at Santa Anita at the previous outing. Tackling a more suitable race so he can play a big role. LETTHELIQUORTALK (9) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by half a length at this track and distance last start in a far better effort. Finds another suitable race and can figure in the finish.
